About Me

From rock to pop, folk to jazz, funk to soul, and everything in between – we’ll start with classical techniques. This will teach you skills that can be transferred onto any genre or style of music. It’s the best way of really learning how to use your voice, and more importantly, how to look after it.

At 16-years-old I passed my Grade 8 singing with Distinction, and by 18 I qualified for my Teaching Diploma with Honours.

As well as session work, I have been lucky enough to complete two European live tours, one of which included including singing Mass at the Vatican.

Alongside singing, I am also an accomplished pianist, and play guitar and trumpet.

I am experienced at delivering Choral Workshops in different styles,
ranging from sacred music to rock, madrigals to gospel, for any collectives from schools to professional choirs.

I am a great believer in music as a healing force, especially for mental
health, no matter your age or ability. As well as my private clients, I also work with local nursing homes and schools for disabled children, offering fun music therapy workshops.

WardVox supports and works closely with mental health initiative Minds Anonymous, a platform for people to share their mental health stories anonymously with a view to increasing understanding and ending stigma.

Singing can be an incredibly personal thing. Many of my clients have engaged in sessions to help them sing at events such as weddings and funerals, which takes a huge amount of guts, and tends to bring out a lot of emotion.

My teaching room is a safe space where I will help you develop your skills, while not losing sight of how important it is for you to communicate your message, and feel strong whilst doing so.

What People Say

Jennifer is an incredible teacher. My very first session with her i came away with a huge amount of new knowledge on vocal mechanics and extra confidence in spades. Can’t recommend enough.

I learn so much from Jen every time I see her. She continues to grow my musical abilities and me as a person. Amaaazing! Love your work Jen!

Hannah, Guildford

I’ve had fantastic sessions with Jennifer. We started with warm up exercises (something I’ve never bothered with before!) and they really made a difference. She also helped with my pitch and timing which resulted in a much more confident performance when I sang in public.

Louisa, Woking

Brilliant, passionate and creative singer and teacher, Jen is amazing!

Jacqui, Sussex

Let’s get singing!
